How does another person’s life become something you can experience from within?
Explore how movement, physical awareness and imagination can transform the actor's experience of character.
Over two days, we’ll work with body, imagination and text. Drawing on Vincent's Michael Chekhov and somatic work, and Matt's Character Body approach, we invite actors into an intuitive, embodied process of discovery.
As the workshop develops, the two approaches will begin to intersect.
Actors will explore how specific movement practices can enrich and deepen their experience of character, allowing new life, impulses and discoveries to emerge from within the work itself.
